Judy smiled back and said “I’m happy to see you too. This week has not been the same without you.” Julia was carrying her purse and said: “Let’s go back to your room, I want to show you something.”
The two girls headed back to Judy’s room, and Julia sat her purse on the bed. She opened it and started pulling out a few pairs of crazy looking socks. She looked over at Judy and said “So how does this work? Do we get naked first and then put on the socks, or do we put on the socks first, and then take everything else off?”

Chapter 11

Both girls laughed and this seemed to calm Julia a bit. They heard the knock again and Judy said “I don’t want you to be uncomfortable, so if you want to go get dressed you can, but I’m not going to bother. Julia thought for a minute and then nodded her head, indicating for Judy to go ahead and let her in.
Judy took a quick look through the peephole to make sure it was just Mrs. Jensen, and seeing that it was, she opened the door. Mrs. Jensen broke out in a huge smile and entered the house. As she walked in, she looked at Judy’s plaid socks and said: “Oh my dear, those socks are just darling.”
Then Mrs. Jensen spotted Julia standing next to the couch and her smile grew wider. The three chatted for a few more minutes, and then Mrs. Jensen stood up and said “Well, I’ve got to get back.” They saw her to the door, and closed it behind her, giving each other a “that was weird” look.
